The “Mayor of the Green” in San Francisco’s Marina Green district, Ham was a fixture flying all manner of parafoils and windsocks throughout the 1980s and 1990s. From correspondence with Domina Jalbert, Ham’s parafoils evolved to perform in the challenging conditions at Marina Green.
