Harold Writer

One of kiting’s “bridge generation” who actively made kites as a child in the 30s, Harold re-started making kites in the 60s and 70s. Using techniques from childhood and refining them with an adult’s experience, Writer soon went from paper sails to more modern plastic or ripstop. He specialized in classic designs, favoring the Eddy and Cody over all others.
