Merry, along with Andrew Jones, was one of the original inventors of the Flexifoil, at the time, a completely new form of sport kite. Featuring a leading-edge spar and upside-down foil profile, the kite was fast and powerful. The Flexifoil Company has continued to be a leader in traction kiting, with models made for land, water, and snow.
