A much loved and missed northwest US kite maker, Huston was an active member in this kite hotbed. His innovative treatments of contemporary designs earned him acclaim as a kite maker, but he was also a skilled teacher of innovative sewing, framing, and taping techniques. He and his wife, Anne, traveled to kite festivals around the world and brought new ideas to the American kite scene.
