Kites to Kitty Hawk
In celebration of the centennial of flight, this exhibit chronicles the kites and their inventors as they move toward the goal of man powered flight. From early pioneers in Europe and the United States, we celebrate the final achievement of taking to the air with the Wright Brothers and their first flight at Kitty Hawk.

Installation info:
Allow approximately 2 persons 6-8 hours to assemble and install exhibit.

Kites are suspended from ceiling, except Wright Brothers glider. (on pedestal with barrier) Minimum ceiling height: 12'-0"

Graphic panels are hung on walls with French cleats or secured to easels.



Rental
Guidelines:
The Guidelines are as follows:
  1. Deposit of $500 to secure a booking date (applied to rental).
  2. Payment of rental fee, in full, before exhibit is shipped.
  3. Payment of shipping to and from The Drachen Foundation.
  4. Certificate of Insurance Coverage to the amount of $20,000
    (in the name of The Drachen Foundation).
  5. Credit given to The Drachen Foundation on all press and printed materials for the exhibition.
