Students will create a collage on the kite sail using overlapping cut geometric and torn organic tissue shapes.
Developed and tested in conjunction with a local school and a visual arts consultant, this lesson plan was designed to integrate Washington State visual arts learning standards with a kite making activity. With specific targets, criteria and instructions, this lesson creatively teaches art learning standards.

Identifies geometric shapes and organic shapes
Addresses principles of organization
