The Drachen Foundation issues a variety of publications, from scholarly studies of kite topics to overviews of kite cultures, pamphlets documenting special projects, and the thrice-yearly Drachen Foundation Kite Journal, an online compendium, with colorful photographs, of kite news and notables from around the world. The Drachen Foundation resumes publication of a bimonthly newsletter in January 2006
